Here’s all the places you can find me other than on katieRUNSthis! Just a few of the projects I have my hands in and some of the places I have been featured…
Claim Your Journey. Claim Your Journey is an online publication dedicated to runners in Louisiana. Their goal is to keep runners up to date on events and races, provide recaps and photos, and help runners in the area connect. I’m thrilled to be part of this project!
Nola.com. Nola.com is the online edition of the New Orleans’ finest publication, the Times-Picayune. I am a regular contributor to their running page, often writing about races/events in the area or general running news and topics.
The Louisiana Marathon. On January 15, 2012, Baton Rouge will host The Louisiana Marathon, a multi-race format: a marathon, a half-marathon, 2 & 4 person relays, a 5k and a RocketKidz Marathon. The runner-friendly course will include the lakes, the university, the revitalized downtown area and historic and progressive neighborhoods in the heart of the state’s capital. I’m super excited to be on the committee for this event and I’ll be bringing you more details as the event nears! It is going to be AWESOME!
Woman’s Hospital. When I am not writing about all things running, I can also be found writing about pregnancy and impending mommyhood for Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. Woman’s Hospital features several mommy bloggers at different stages of the game and you can find all of us here, on the Mommy-Go-Round. This has also lead to the exciting opportunity as being selected as one of the maternity models for their Baby Grand Expo in November. Pics coming soon!
For Two Fitness. For Two Fitness specializes in maternity fitness clothing and pregnancy activewear that celebrates your shape, so you look and feel fabulous. Shape Magazine calls For Two Fitness the “latest must-have for moms-to-be”! They have also been featured in Fit Pregnancy Magazine and the Celebrity Baby at People.com. I am so honored to be a contributor to their blog!
Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure. I was featured in a promotional video for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure! As a veteran walker and crew member, I am super honored by this.

GO Sport ID. GO Sport ID empowers athletes of a today with a powerful tool that prepares them for emergency by providing vital information to first responders and motivates athletes to push the boundaries of their sport by providing a constant reminder of what makes them GO!
Self Magazine. Look-a there! My little ol’ Tweet was printed in the July 2011 issue of Self Magazine! Does this make me “published” now?
WRKF Baton Rouge. Okay, so this little mention has absolutely nothing to do with running…or fitness. My husband and I got quoted in an article and radio program and I thought it was sort of fun so I posted it here. One of the loves we share is that for local art. We attended a local once-a-month art show called Stabbed in the Art and we got interviewed! Fun!
